Sara Spowart is an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Florida in the Department of Global Health. She is also an Emerging Field Research Fellow with the human trafficking prevention organization Love Justice International as well as a PTSD and trauma therapist in Tampa, Florida. Sara Spowart graduated with her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2019 from Northcentral University, her PhD in Public Health from the University of South Florida in 2014 and her Master's in Public Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. She has worked and lived in East and West Africa and India for public health projects with vulnerable populations where she published numerous advocacy pieces for multiple international non-profit organizations. She has a passion for work concerning education and health and the latest research conducted in the field.
