Bio :

Dr. Saad Dahlawi is the Head of Environmental Health Department and Assistant Professor in College of Public Health, IAU (Previously University of Dammam, Saudi Arabia). He has been a faculty member at IAU since 2005. He holds MSc and PhD degrees in Environmental Chemistry from University of Aberdeen (UK) under the supervision of Professor Graeme Paton in 2014. He is also an Associate Fellow of the British Higher Education Academy.

His primary research interests are in the field of environmental pollution and its toxicological impacts on human health. Specifically, he is interested in soil contamination by trace elements and heavy metals, their accumulation in plants and mitigation strategies. He published eight research articles in top ranked ISI journals including a book chapter published in Springer International Publishing, Switzerland. Few more research articles are still under process and expected to be published during 2018. He participated in many international conferences and meetings and presented his research works and established collaboration with international scientists and peers in the field on soil and water pollution.
