Dr.Shah completed residency in Internal medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from Seton Hall University, NJ. He was on faculty as Assistant Professor at Joan C. Edward School of Medicine, Marshall University from 2015 to 2018. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Obesity Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, The Obesity Society and the Obesity Medicine Association. He serves as a member of different committees of American College of Gastroenterology, Obesity Medicine Association and the Obesity Society. He has published more than thirty peer review manuscripts. He has published numerous abstracts in local, national and international conferences. He also serves on the editorial board of many journals.
He practices all aspects of Gastroenterology and Hepatology with special interest in therapeutic billiary endoscopy, balloon enteroscopy, esophageal manometery, radiofrequency ablation and endoscopic treatment of GERD.
