Majid Forghani-elahabad is an assistant professor of Applied Mathematics at the Federal University of ABC. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research, which he earned in 2014, and a B.Sc. and M.S. in Applied Mathematics, which he received in 2005 and 2008, respectively. In addition to his academic appointments, he has served as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Sao Paulo and the Federal University of ABC and as a lecturer at various universities in Iran, including the Sharif University of Technology. Majid is an Editorial member of four international journals and has reviewed over twenty international journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Reliability, Reliability Engineering & System Safety, Computers & Industrial Engineering, and Expert Systems with Applications. His current research interests include system reliability, network optimization, and optical networks.
