Serving in Health Sector use of technology, to facilitate the practice of evidence based medicine promises to substantially improve health care quality.?
I have a good body of research and publishing for precision medicine in cancer treatment, my work provides a useful link between Computer Assisted Diagnostics (CAD), Artificial Intelligence, Clinical Decision Support and Expert Systems, encouraging research and teaching collaborations.?
I will complete my postdoc in Clinical Decision Support Systems with AI for Early Stage Cancer Detection at Eberhard Karl’s University Tübingen, Germany on May 2019, with focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for the diagnosis of cancer and the expanding role of computer technologies in medicine. ?
Most of my specialized experience is to improve prognosis and therapeutic response prediction paving the way for imaging-based precision medicine, with a big drive in investigating the underlying regulatory disturbance of cancer and prevention and hopefully the effective treatments in late stage recognized cancer. Also, the use of bioinformatics tools, statistical methods and computer programs to collect, organize and analyse data for optimal retrieval and presentation of summarized results for non - scientific audiences. ?
Since 2007 until today I joined Scientific Expert, for Research & Innovation Projects of EU programme under EUREKA, ERC, ECDC, Horizon 2020, and other EU organizations in the field of Biomedical Imaging and Image Processing interlinked with Industry. I have developed significant communicating and collaborating skills with cross functional teams including biologists, physicians, computer scientists and clinicians’ teams to make diagnosis and treatment much more precise and personalized.?
