Bio :

Currently, my research interest includes transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and production of various types of magnetic and non-magnetic materials, for MRI contrast agents, magnetic data storage, recording media, permanent magnets, magnetic refrigeration, sensors and lubricant. I have extensive experience in synthesis and characterization of magnetic nanostructured materials. During 2015-2016, my work on novel rare-earth free permanent magnet material was highlighted by many scientific news articles such as phys.org, nanowerk, science daily, ..etc. In addition, I hold one US-patent and four provisional patents on different kinds of magnetic nanoparticles applications.

I received my Ph.D. degree in physics from Heidelberg University, Germany 2011. I worked in various research positions from 2012 through 2017, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), Virginia (2012-2013) and University of Delaware (UD), Delaware (2013-2015), USA. During that time i were involved with synthesis and characterization of wide range of magnetic nanoparticles for many applications, e.g. permanent magnets, magnetic refrigeration, data storage, magnetic sensors,. etc. In August 2015 to June 2016, I were appointed as the Head of R&D Department at Nanofoundry, LLC and Manager of the Magnetics laboratory at VCU, Virginia, USA. From June 2016 to August 2017 i was working as the Senior Scientist at Biomagnetics Laboratory, Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering, at VCU, Virginia, USA. Currently, I am assistant professor of physics and director of nanomagnetism and biomaterials lab. at University of Texas at El Paso, Texas, USA.
